Welcome Message from the Principal

 
 
Dear Northwood Elementary Families,
 
It is with great humility and gratitude that I begin my fourth year as Principal of Northwood Elementary School. I
 
am honored to continue serving this incredible community and working alongside our dedicated staff, supportive
 
families, and outstanding students. I look forward to helping every child grow academically, socially, and
 
emotionally as we embark on another exciting school year together.
 
This year brings several exciting improvements to our campus. Students will enjoy a brand-new playground and
 
blacktop, as well as renovated indoor and outdoor student restrooms. We have also created a single-point entry
 
system to enhance campus security and provide an even safer learning environment for our students and staff.
 
Northwood remains committed to supporting the whole child. We will continue to provide a full-time intervention
 
team, including a school counselor, to ensure students receive the academic and social-emotional support they
 
need to thrive. In addition, we are excited to expand our Visual and Performing Arts programs, creating even
 
more opportunities for students to explore their creativity, talents, and interests.
 
As we begin this new school year, I am filled with optimism for what lies ahead. Together, we will continue to
 
foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every student can succeed. I truly believe
 
this will be our best year yet.
